    The Oracle System Business Analyst & Support Lead is responsible for performing analysis, maintenance, and daily functional support of the Oracle EBS ERP (all modules) and other non-Oracle applications under minimal supervision. The Oracle System Business Analyst & Support Lead will have a strong Oracle EBS application background with an emphasis in the Financial areas. The Senior Oracle Support Analyst will work with IT Leads and Business users to understand and evaluate functional requirements and issues. The Oracle System Business Analyst & Support Lead will have the responsibility to be proactive in understanding and assessing application solutions, with an emphasis in accounting, financial reporting and other analytical systems. This position will work closely with Animal Nutrition personnel to understand business requirements and ensure the applications properly function to meet business needs across the organization.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    + Provides functional consulting and support on end-to-end business process issues.

    + Act as the Oracle subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures, defining detailed requirements, analyzing the business needs, and validating solutions with the end users.

    + Assist in providing periodic ad-hoc reports as necessary to assist the business departments in answering specific business questions.

    + Conduct End user training and develop training content and job aids as required.

    + Assist end users in analyzing business processes, identifying problems and applying systems tools to enhance the effectiveness of the work. Takes a lead role in developing systems documentation and end user systems operating procedures to ensure that effective controls exist.

    + Determine oracle functional requirement and coordinate with stakeholders to analyze all project requirements and determine efficient improvement processes.

    + Evaluate all system solutions and functions to ensure compliance to all standards.

    + Provide input to the development of project plans and timeliness in order to meet established delivery dates

    + Assists with business implications of any proposed changes to various application systems within business unit.

    + Assists in alignment of projects to client and internal business strategy.

    + Manage the implementation of system upgrades, enhancements and developments in line with the ADM business standards.

    + Focuses on business process analysis and modeling.

    + Interacts with client and ensures integration of business processes and systems.

    + Creates and reviews business cases, use cases and test cases

    + Works with end users gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions

    + Documenting system solutions and test script preparation.

    + Identifies business impacts and works to resolve scope and boundary issues.

    + Act as the functional finance and accounting subject matter expert for Oracle Applications.

    + Support the utilization and maintenance of the Financials Modules including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Tax, Legal Entity and Organization, General Ledger. and Advanced Pricing.

    + Assist in configuration of pricing and marketing programs in the Oracle Advanced Pricing module.

    + Assist in supporting all other Oracle Applications (including Payables, Receivables, Purchasing, Order Management, Inventory, Quality, Landed Cost Management, etc., as required.

    + Proposes and implements ideas to simplify daily activities in the Finance and Accounting departments by leveraging new or existing IT solutions.

    + Provide subject matter expertise and support for all month-end related accounting close activities to ensure a smooth, accurate and timely financial month-end reporting. Provide assistance in key system processes (i.e. process of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes) as needed.

    + Oversight responsibility for consolidation and financial reporting of Animal Nutrition, including managing corporate consolidations financial process and intercompany processes.

    + Preparation and Administration of Tax Reporting (Research Credit and Sales/Use Tax)

    + Assist with sales and use tax audits, respond to tax inquiries from internal sources and research and resolve taxability issues.

    + Administer and maintain all Oracle Subledger Accounting Rules and Cross-Validation Rules.

    + May be required to provide back-up support for Oracle Product Costing, including but not limited to OPM Item costing.

    + Communicates effectively with ADM Teams and Leadership

    + Act as a liaison between business users, IT Teams, contractors & vendors.

    + Responsible for tracking and assigning new tickets or NPD’s that arise

    + Perform other essential functions as assigned.

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    + Extensive experience (8+ years) using the Oracle EBS Suite of Applications with a strong understanding of the financial applications.

    + Bachelor's Degree/4-year Degree

    + Knowledge of Animal Nutrition organizational structure and business processes

    + Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel Power Point)

    + Analytical skills including process, design, data relationship, measurements, and gap analysis

    + Facilitation and team building skills

    + Ability to establish rapport and relationships with individuals at all levels internally and externally

    + Excellent written and oral communication skills in English

    + Experience with Quest Toad a plus, but can be trained.

    Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

     

    If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

    The pay range for this position is expected to be between:
