Job Description

HR Audits & Compliance Units within NYPD Personnel Bureau’s goals is to strengthen oversight, safeguard data integrity, and ensure compliance with federal, state, city, and NYPD regulations. This unit will safeguard against risk, promote operational efficiency, and strengthen accountability across HR processes and ensure that all HR functions -civilian and uniform – are conducted with integrity and transparency. The Compliance Manager will report to the Director of Audits and Compliance.
The selected candidate will:
- Identify, Investigate and report compliance issues, irregularities and violations, while maintaining accurate records of compliance activities among different divisions within Personnel Bureau (Human Resource Division, Candidate Assessment Division and Medical Division)
- Supervise a team of Analyst, assigned to compliance review and audits, provide direction, assign work, set priorities and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of the audit.
- Lead and oversee audits of various HR systems and process to ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate and liaise with external and internal business partners, as well as staff, to troubleshoot compliance matters.
- Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership regarding investigation trends, outcomes, area of risk and risk mitigation recommendation.
- Review and analyze DCAS policies for NYPD employees
- Use reporting tools to maintain, analyze, and generate various HR data reports.
- Establish, maintain, track and monitor project plans and assignments to ensure that project timelines are followed.
- Perform additional HR duties and support special projects as assigned.
Additional Information:

Salary Min: $ 40,000.00
Salary Max: $105,500.00
