Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow Application Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform that align with business needs. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing across various ServiceNow modules, building custom applications, and integrating third-party systems using best practices and platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and workflows

* Build and maintain custom applications using ServiceNow Studio and App Engine

* Develop scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, etc.)

* Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions

* Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

* Integrate ServiceNow with third-party applications via REST, SOAP, and MID Servers

* Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)

* Maintain documentation related to development processes, architecture, and solutions

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner

* Stay current with new ServiceNow features and releases, and make recommendations for improvements

* This job can be performed anywhere in the US

Required technical and professional expertise

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

* 2+ years of hands-on development experience with ServiceNow

* Proficient in JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs

* Experience with core ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, or HRSD

* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required

* Understanding of data modeling, ACLs, and platform security

* Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred technical and professional experience

* ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

* Experience developing custom applications on ServiceNow App Engine

* Knowledge of ServiceNow IntegrationHub, Flow Designer, and Performance Analytics

* Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

* Exposure to ITIL practices and service management processes
