Job Description:
Parsons is now hiring for a talented Associate Civil Engineer to join our growing Transportation Infrastructure team in Florida. In this role, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and implementation of civil engineering projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate engineer to grow their career while working on impactful projects in transportation, water resources, and urban development.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, including roadways, drainage systems, utilities, and site development.
+ Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and modeling using industry-standard software.
+ Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications in compliance with project requirements and applicable standards.
+ Collaborate with project managers, senior engineers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
+ Conduct site visits and field inspections to gather data and ensure project compliance.
+ Support the preparation of cost estimates, schedules, and feasibility studies.
+ Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
What Qualifications You'll Bring:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
+ 0-3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and analysis.
+ Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
+ EIT certification or the ability to obtain it within one year is preferred.
+ Familiarity with local and state regulations is a plus.

Salary Range: $26.25 - $45.96
