**Target Salary Range:** _$60,000 – $70,000+, based on experience_
**Schedule:** This is a first shift position | Monday – Friday

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
+ Designs and implements safety and environmental policies and procedures including, but not limited to, written programs, recordkeeping, reports, inspections, monitoring, testing, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local EHS regulations by staying informed about changes, interpreting requirements, and implementing necessary adjustments to programs, processes, and policies.
+ Deliver EHS training programs to employees at all levels, to ensure employees' knowledge, understanding and adherence to safety and environmental regulations pertaining to all facilities.
+ Conduct and document regular EHS audits and inspections as needed to assure compliance with applicable permits, regulations, and requirements.
+ Coordinate visits from interna! and externa! regulatory authorities and file annual local, state and federal environmental reports potentially including air, waste, water, Tier 11, and Form R.
+ Assist site safety committee with inspections to assess compliance with policies and regulations, identifying, determining, and implementing, corrective and preventative measures far areas with existing or potential accident and health hazards.
+ Manages workers compensation cases and EHS programs, including cost control/reduction and accident prevention/ reduction, safety behavior audit, and risk assessment programs.
+ Assist with the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
+ Establish and promote a culture of continuous improvement in EHS performance by evaluating existing programs, identifying areas far enhancement, and coordinating development of and EHS improvement strategic plan, collaborating with site managers.
+ Analyze safety history, manufacturing processes, product machinery, and chemical exposures to determine safety hazards, identify trends, and develop safety strategies to correct and prevent potential accidents or health hazards.
+ All other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred
+ Relevant certifications required or preferred, include: Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Associate or Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP) and Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
+ 3–6 years of experience in a related EHS role in a manufacturing environment
+ Subject matter expertise in areas such as Tier II reporting, SPCC, air regulations, stormwater management, spill planning, hazardous/special wastes, universal waste, machine guarding, LOTO, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Outlook.
+ Maintains strict confidentiality and protects sensitive information.
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
+ Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, including interaction with leadership, staff, and external parties.
+ Proactive problem-solver with sound judgment and strong decision-making abilities.
