Schedule: Full Time Mon-Fri 8a-4:30p

Facility: Prime Healthcare St. Francis Infusion Center at Resurrection Medical Center

Responsibilities

The Infusion Insurance and Prior Authorization Representative assists with referrals by determining and verifying insurance coverage and coordination of benefits from all sources. This position completes insurance authorization and answers infusion financial questions. This position also ensures proper, adequate, and timely authorization to ensure timely services.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

Required qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED required.2. Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work independently are required.

3. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills are required.

Preferred qualification:

1. Previous experience in pharmacy, infusion, or prior authorization process is preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.00 to $22.43. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
