Our client, a leader in industrial manufacturing and aerospace, is seeking a Jr. Network Infrastructure Consultant to join their team. As a Jr. Network Infrastructure Consultant, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting network design, documentation, and deployment within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate curiosity, attention to detail, and strong communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Jr. Network Infrastructure Consultant
**Location:** Mobile, Alabama
**Duration:** 3+ Months contract with potential to convert to perm or extend
What's the Job?
+ Support the design and documentation of network architectures including LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and firewalls.
+ Assist in preparing connection dossiers and hosting dossiers, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to deploy applications on shared infrastructure in a safety-critical environment.
+ Maintain infrastructure standards, network topology diagrams, and related documentation.
+ Work closely with operations, security, and application teams to ensure seamless integration across production sites.
What's Needed?
+ Foundational knowledge of networking concepts such as routing, switching, VPNs, and firewalls.
+ Basic understanding of hosting environments, virtualization, and industrial IT principles.
+ Strong interest in technical documentation, structured processes, and compliance standards.
+ Ability to learn quickly in a complex, safety-critical environment.
+ 3-5 years of experience in network engineering, system administration, or industrial IT.
