As a **Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol** in **Waterloo, IA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. This position is primarily driving and requires a valid driver's license. You will engage with employees and visitors, provide outstanding customer service, and support a secure environment, embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial site, including the perimeter and interior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Observe and report any unusual conditions, potential hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with controlling access points and verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.

+ Support site operations by maintaining a visible presence and addressing inquiries or concerns from employees, visitors, and contractors.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
