Description
The Automation Engineer is be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining safe and reliable control software for industrial machinery. This includes PLC programming, HMI development, VFD parametrization, and industrial networking. This role is critical to setting the standard for the form, fit, and function of our machine control software and will contribute directly to the innovation, safety, and performance of our products.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience & Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in automation engineering for industrial machinery, preferably in plastics or heavy equipment industries. • Proficiency in: o Siemens PLC programming (TIA Portal) o Rockwell PLC programming (Studio 5000) o AVEVA InTouch HMI configuration • Experience with large motors and VFDs (≥600kW) including commissioning and parameter setup. • Strong knowledge of safety standards and industrial control systems design. • Familiarity with communication protocols and industrial networking. • Experience conducting FATs and troubleshooting control logic in live environments. • Must have knowledge of automation systems including instrumentation (analog and digital), Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems including programming, startup and troubleshooting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
