What You’ll Do
+ Develop engineering site plans and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Design stormwater management systems, including grading, piping, and stormwater quality and quantity controls.
+ Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for diverse public and private projects.
+ Prepare technical reports such as:
+ Stormwater Management Reports
+ Erosion & Sediment Control Plans
+ SWPPP and SPCC Plans
+ Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
+ Participate in field investigations and provide construction oversight.
+ Attend and lead project progress meetings, pre-bid, and pre-construction sessions.
+ Engage with clients and represent the team at industry conferences and municipal meetings.
What We’re Looking For
+ Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
+ Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
+ 1–4 years of experience in water resources or civil engineering, with skills in:
+ Site layout and grading
+ Erosion and sediment control plans
+ Stormwater management design
+ Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulics software such as:
+ HydroCAD®, AutoCAD Storm & Sanitary Analysis
+ Bentley StormCAD, Bentley CivilStorm
+ EPA SWMM, HEC-RAS
+ Knowledge of regulatory requirements for stormwater, land development, and water quality.
+ Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in civil land development, stream restoration, floodplain analysis, and permitting.
+ Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D (2022 or later).
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
