Job Title: Remote Pharmacy Technician

MUST RESIDE IN FLORDIA + BE CERTIFIED OR REGISTERED AS A PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Join our dynamic pharmacy team in a remote call-center role! We are looking for Certified Pharmacy Technician OR Registered Pharmacy Technicians residing in Florida who thrive in fast-paced environments and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care. This position involves managing a high volume of inbound calls, verifying prescriptions, and ensuring accurate data entry into our pharmacy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Handle a high volume of inbound calls with professionalism and empathy.

+ Verify patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

+ Actively listen to callers, clarify details, and resolve concerns effectively.

+ Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy teams to meet patient and provider needs promptly.

+ Process and enter prescription orders accurately and efficiently based on urgency.

+ Maintain detailed documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

+ Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure smooth workflow.

+ Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

+ Certified as a Pharmacy Technician OR Registered Pharmacy Technician License (Florida Board of Pharmacy).

+ Strong data entry and computer skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Knowledge of prescription processing and pharmacy operations.

+ Excellent customer service and communication skills.

+ Experience in call-center environments or specialty pharmacies.

+ Familiarity with prior authorizations and insurance billing.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 1–2 years of pharmacy experience.

+ Experience with non-commercial pharmacy operations.

+ Strong organizational and time management skills.

+ High School Diploma or GED required.

Work Environment:

+ Remote position based in Lake Mary, FL.

+ Company-provided equipment (laptop and headset).

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday / 8:00am-4:30pm

+ Breaks: 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks (scheduled and non-flexible).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Mary, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
