    Warehouse Associate- 1st Shift

     

    6am-2:30pm

    Position Summary

    The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials. This role ensures inventory accuracy, maintains a safe and organized work environment, and contributes to efficient supply chain operations.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Receiving & Inspection:

    + Unload incoming shipments and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders.

    + Inspect products for damage or defects and report discrepancies.

    + Inventory Management:

    + Accurately log items into inventory systems (ERP/WMS).

    + Maintain proper stock rotation and ensure inventory accuracy.

    + Order Fulfillment:

    + Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment according to customer requirements.

    + Prepare shipping labels and documentation; load products onto trucks safely.

    + Equipment Operation:

    + Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.

    + Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.

    + Safety & Compliance:

    + Follow all OSHA and company safety guidelines.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.

    + Additional Duties:

    + Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits.

    + Support continuous improvement initiatives and other tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + 1+ year of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperature environments.

    + Forklift certification or willingness to obtain.

    + Basic computer skills; experience with inventory systems a plus.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    Skills & Competencies

    + Team-oriented with strong communication skills.

    + Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.

    + Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

    Physical Requirements

    + Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

    + Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, NV.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
