    Job Title: MBSE Architect

    Job Description

    We are seeking an MBSE Systems Engineer to develop system modeling and simulation (M&S) solutions throughout the organization. This role involves performing engineering analysis and providing results to inform strategic decisions for operations. The Engineer will focus on the design, development, and integration of M&S products for the program, tackling a wide array of challenges to develop solutions for all aspects of the current business.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop system modeling and simulation (M&S) solutions across the organization.

    + Perform engineering analysis to inform strategic decisions for operations.

    + Design, develop, and integrate M&S products for the program.

    + Navigate at an expert level with System Modeling tools and develop Use Cases, Activity Models, and other SYSML models.

    + Apply modeling to support a system's or System of Systems' (SoS) requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout the acquisition life cycle phases.

    + Implement a model-based culture leveraging the digital enterprise environment infrastructure of the organization.

    + Deliver large-scale DoD systems engineering projects.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or other related technical field.

    + 5 years of experience performing Model Based Systems Engineering in a government consulting environment.

    + Direct experience in Systems Engineering and SysML/UML modeling capabilities utilizing modeling tools such as Cameo.

    + Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

    + In-depth understanding of systems engineering principles, methodologies, MBSE, and best practices.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or related discipline.

    + Proficiency in systems monitoring, diagnostics, and performance analysis tools.

    + Experience utilizing model data support to enable the creation of a digital thread across other engineering disciplines (e.g., cyber and safety).

    + Knowledge/Experience supporting Navy SSP Strategic Weapons Systems.

    + INCOSE CSEP Certification.

    + OCSMP Certification.

    Work Environment

    The role requires a secret clearance and involves working within a government consulting environment. The engineer will operate in a digital enterprise environment, implementing a model-based culture and leveraging modern system modeling tools. The focus will be on large-scale DoD systems engineering projects, requiring a high level of expertise and self-direction.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Rockville, MD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
