    We are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Technician to join our team in Carpinteria! Entry level candidates are welcome to apply.

    Description

    This is a diverse role in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing company. The ideal candidate must have a strong eagerness to learn and help wherever it is needed in customer technical support, engineering, and production. We will provide the training and tools to be successful.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

     

    + Support engineering in development of new products and updating of current products

    + Create and update engineering documentation for Production.

    + Provide customers with installation support information.

    + Assist Sales with technical information.

    + Process returns and issue credit memos in Macola ERP system

    + Provide failure analysis and technical evaluation for product returns

    Computer Skills:

    + To perform this job successfully, an individual should have general computer skills. Current applications used include Microsoft Office, PCB Layout and Mechanical CAD.

    + Understanding of ERP Systems is desirable.

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 5+ year's related experience and/or Associate's Degree in Electronics, Engineering or Equivalent and/or Military technical training and certification desired. Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

    Equipment:

    • Electronic testing equipment (meters, oscilloscope, development systems)

    • Soldering irons and assembly tools

    • Basic mechanical hand tools

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carpinteria, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr.
