    Mission

     

    To manage all costs related to railway projects, from initial estimates through to final account settlements, ensuring that projects are completed within budget and meet quality standards. Ensuring the financial viability of projects

    Main Responsibilities

    Includes but not limited to the following:

    + Cost Estimation: Preparing detailed cost estimates for projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.

    + Budget Management: Developing and managing budgets throughout the project lifecycle to ensure financial control.

    + Tendering: Preparing and evaluating tender documents, including analyzing bids from contractors and suppliers.

    + Contract Management: Administering contracts and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, including negotiation and dispute resolution.

    + Site Measurement: Conducting site measurements and assessments to ensure accuracy in cost calculations and project progress.

    + Financial Reporting: Preparing financial reports and forecasts for stakeholders, detailing project expenses and variances.

    + Value Engineering: Identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality, safety, or performance.

    + Risk Management: Assessing potential financial risks and developing mitigation strategies throughout the project.

    + Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and cost management.

    + Final Accounts: Preparing final accounts for the project, ensuring all financial aspects are settled and documented accurately.

     

    Profile

     

    + Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

    + Professional Experience: Experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the railway or infrastructure sector.

    + Technical Skills: Proficient in cost management software and tools.

    + Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills for cost estimation and financial analysis.

    + Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for collaboration and reporting.
