    Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Specialist in a Hospital!

    Job Description

    We are looking for a dedicated Shipping/Receiving Specialist to manage the distribution and maintenance of medical supplies and equipment across our campus. The role involves extensive walking throughout the shift to deliver supplies to nursing units and requires a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization in supply areas.

     

    1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm, any day of the week

     

    $24/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Distribute and maintain medical supplies and equipment to point-of-care locations across the campus.

    + Rotate stock and unload/un-package shipments.

    + Keep point of care supply areas clean and organized.

    + Perform heavy cleaning duties, including wiping down walls and bins in the department.

    + Maintain efficient functioning of central supply and equipment inventories.

    + Respond to customer supply orders for special items throughout the shift.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and material handling.

    + Proficiency in shipping and receiving, inventory control, and cycle counts.

    + Ability to lift and handle boxes and packages.

    + Experience with order picking and stocking products.

    + Strong customer service skills.

    + Familiarity with Oracle Base ERP Systems and data entry.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency with pallet jacks and motorized pallet jacks.

    + Forklift operation experience.

    + Ability to recognize products and ensure accuracy in orders.

    + Strong computer skills for data entry and ERP system usage.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is based in the hospital's basement warehouse. You will spend 80% of your day receiving and unboxing orders in the receiving bay and the remaining 20% on data entry tasks. The position involves interacting with delivery drivers and requires the use of elevators.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mission Viejo, CA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
