    Job Title: Service Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to provide exceptional service to customers concerning their Boiler Rooms. This role involves working independently as well as collaboratively with others, ensuring that all service aspects are covered efficiently and effectively. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform annual maintenance on boilers, feed/DA tanks, ancillary equipment, piping, wiring, and refractory.

    + Service and install pumps.

    + Conduct control and burner upgrades.

    + Handle general repair and maintenance tasks.

    + Maintain safety training requirements and adhere to customer safety protocols.

    Essential Skills

    + 1-2 years of experience in HVAC/Electrical/Industrial maintenance or mechanically inclined roles.

    + Valid driver's license and insurability.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs.

    + Availability to work weekends and participate in on-call rotations once fully trained.

    + Pass a 5-panel drug test.

    + Pass a DMV check.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Mechanically inclined with knowledge of boiler maintenance, repair, inspection, and service.

    + Understanding of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, repair, field service, preventive maintenance, schematics, and control systems.

    Work Environment

     

    Our Service Technicians work in diverse environments such as hospitals, schools, manufacturing facilities, and cheese plants. Conditions may vary from hot and dry to cold and wet, with occasional slippery and dirty areas. The team consists of four other Service Technicians based out of the Cottage Grove location. The standard work hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm, starting at the shop each day. Flexibility is required as hours may extend past 3:30 pm or vary based on client needs, averaging 45-60 hours weekly. Overtime and double time are compensated accordingly. All personal protective equipment and tools are provided.

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
