    Job Title: Sanitation Associate AND Lead Sanitation Technician

     

    Pay: $18-20 for Sanitation Associate AND $21-25 for Sanitation Lead

     

    Shift: Start time is typically 5-6PM and will usually work 10 or 12 hour shifts until the sanitation is done.

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation associate and Lead to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our production environment. This role involves maintaining Good Manufacturing Processes, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and areas, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain Good Manufacturing Processes.

    + Clean and sanitize all equipment, production areas, packaging equipment, warehouse, and food ingredients, as well as receiving and shipping areas to meet food safety requirements.

    + Inspect and promote adherence to food safety cleanliness in handling products, ingredients, and finished goods using proper work procedures.

    + Ensure all chemical containers are correctly labeled.

    + Understand chemical or non-chemical pest control systems.

    + Keep neat, accurate records of all work performed daily.

    + Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.

    + Follow all required work safe practices, including wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, etc.

    + Report any food safety, quality, or safety-related issues to management.

    + Perform additional duties as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Organized with a high level of attention to detail.

    + High School Diploma or equivalent.

    + Mechanically inclined.

    + Willingness to learn, train, and expand skillset.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Must always wear personal protective equipment.

    + Actively participate in all training offered within the company.

    + Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Manhattan, KS.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
