Job Title: Production Line Worker (17/hr)

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembly Associate, where you will be responsible for assembling kitchen cabinets using air tools and hand tools. This role includes trimming and gluing joints, fitting parts together to form cabinet sections, and assembling these sections into completed cabinets. You will also fit hinges, locks, catches, drawers, and shelves, install completed products, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble kitchen cabinets using air tools and hand tools.

+ Trim and glue joints; fit parts together to form sections of cabinets.

+ Assemble sections to form completed cabinets.

+ Fit hinges, locks, catches, drawers, and shelves.

+ Install completed products.

+ Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift up to 40lbs.

+ Proficient in performing metric measurements with tape and calipers.

+ Ability to comprehend and follow instructions.

+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

+ Ability to assess and prioritize tasks.

+ Ability to read and understand drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in production, general labor, inspection, assembly, forklift operations, and packaging.

+ Skilled in woodwork, hand tools, packing, carpentry, and power tools.

+ Ability to recognize and identify letter and number combinations.

Work Environment

The work environment is indoors, but it can reflect external weather conditions, making it feel cold or hot inside due to the manufacturing side of the building. Essential physical tasks include consistently lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling up to 25 lbs. to 50 lbs., occasionally carrying up to 25 lbs., constant standing, occasional walking, bending (neck), and twisting (neck and waist). The role requires talking and hearing, with specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Equipment used includes staple guns, drills, hammers, spatulas, tweezers, and scan guns.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Riverside, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
