Job Description
Join our team as a Press Brake Operator, where you will engage in shaping sheet metal to print specifications. This position offers an opportunity for growth and skill development in a supportive and innovative environment. You will work Monday through Friday, roughly from 6 AM to 4 PM.
Responsibilities
+ Operate the brake press and other job shop machinery.
+ Form sheet metal to print specifications.
+ Learn to setup and operate CNC machines, presses, punches, shears, and more.
+ Perform basic shop duties as required.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to operate a press brake and punch press.
+ Strong math skills.
+ Willingness to learn and grow in the role.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in a fabrication shop is beneficial.
+ Forklift experience required if no brake press experience.
+ Basic computer knowledge.
+ Experience reading blueprints and using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.

Work Environment
Experience a clean, climate-controlled environment, primarily working around automated machinery. This is a first shift position, operating 9-10 hours a day. The company is a leading custom metal fabricator specializing in laser cutting, CNC punching, CNC bending, waterjet cutting, and robotic welding, with ISO 9001:2008 certification.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of PITTSBURGH, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
