Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

Job Description

The role involves mechanical assembly, point-to-point electrical wiring, soldering, and wire harness assembly. You will work in a prototype environment directly with schematics and drawings for new product builds.

Responsibilities

+ Perform harness assembly, soldering, box assembly, button-up, and final testing within the electrical assembly department.

+ Work extensively with harnesses and soldering, following schematics and diagrams.

+ Engage in mechanical assembly tasks as required.

+ Ensure quality assurance through inspection and testing.

+ Troubleshoot electronics and mechanical assemblies.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electronic assembly and blueprint reading.

+ Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical prints.

+ Experience with hand and power tools, including shop tools such as lathes, mills, and drill presses.

+ Prior experience with mechanical assembly, point-to-point electrical wiring, soldering, and wire harness assembly.

+ Basic computer and typing skills.

+ Basic math skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior testing and troubleshooting experience.

+ Any fabrication experience with mills, lathes, and drill presses.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Camas, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
