Job Title: Mechanical Assembly Technician
Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and modifying components according to blueprints, manuals, and engineering requirements. You will handle complete mechanical machine assembly, machine rebuilding, alignments, and installations, ensuring adherence to customer and ISO/DIN specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble, rebuild, and align machines according to engineering prints and shop orders.
+ Perform hydraulic, lubrication, and pneumatic piping and assembly.
+ Conduct machine startup and testing, maintaining adherence to specifications.
+ Install or repair fluid power systems, including pipe bending and hose making.
+ Ensure proper fit and alignment of machine components back to OEM tolerances.
+ Inspect and identify defective components, catalog necessary replacements.
+ Install new or repaired machine guarding and assist with electrical component installation.
+ Travel for work, with notice given in advance.
+ Perform all other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of recent experience in mechanical assembly and machine building at an OEM.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assembly.
+ Ability to read, understand, and follow engineering prints and standard work documents.
+ Experience with bearings, bearing preloads, scraping, and machine alignments.
+ Capable of operating overhead cranes and fork trucks.
+ Knowledge in assembly design, preventive maintenance, and welding.
+ Must have own tools and be eligible to work in the U.S.
+ Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in toolmaking, repair, and fabrication.
+ Familiarity with electrical assembly, wiring, and machining.
+ Some shop floor engineering skills required for unusual assembly issues.

This is a Permanent position based out of Beloit, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $93600.00/yr.
Medical, dental and vision, 401k and PTO
Workplace Type
This is a fully onsite position in Beloit,WI.
