Job Title: Hoist and Crane Service Technician
Job Description
The Hoist and Crane Service Technician role offers a unique port-to-port pay structure, where compensation begins from the moment you leave your home until you return. Technicians are provided with a company vehicle for service calls, with the company covering all service, insurance, and fuel costs. This position involves occasional overnight stays (5-10%), with logistics determining the frequency, and comes with a per diem, gas card, and company card for hotel accommodations.
Responsibilities
+ Use the app to clock in when starting your day.
+ Travel to job sites as directed by the app, which will indicate either a quoted or non-quoted job.
+ Retrieve necessary tools, parts, or equipment like scissor lifts from the plant as needed.
+ Return equipment such as scissor lifts to the office post-job.
+ Report on repairs completed.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in crane operation, electrical and mechanical repair.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to read blueprints.
+ Experience with crane inspection and service.
+ Welding skills.
+ Competency with hand tools and field service tasks.
+ Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, including tag out, lockout, PLC, VFDs, contactors, 460V systems, and 3-phase electric motors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must possess basic tools as per tool list.
+ Ability to walk extensively and climb.
+ Comfort with working at heights up to 100 feet.
+ Capability to lift over 50 pounds.
+ Possess strong soft skills and a sales-oriented mindset to effectively communicate with customers.
+ Proactive in identifying potential issues and creating solutions.
+ Self-starter with ambition.

Work Environment
Work environments vary based on client locations, with steel mills being the most challenging. Expect dirty, dusty, and non-temperature-controlled settings. Tasks may require working at heights, including using scissor lifts up to 30 feet or man lifts up to 100 feet. The standard shift is 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with some days extending until 5 PM or later, averaging around 45-50 hours a week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Little Rock, AR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
Receives time and half after 8 hours in a day
Receives time and a half on Saturdays
Receives time and half for hours worked between 6p-12a
Receives double time on Sundays
Receives double time on time worked between midnight and 6am.
MONTHLY bonus potential - could be up to 8% of monthly income
