• Aircraft Technician

    Aerotek (Baton Rouge, LA)


    Description:

    + Perform aircraft maintenance operations in a Part 145 repair station that works on corporate and general aviation aircraft, including Citation, King Air, and Mooney models.

    + Complete mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and maintenance, with heavy emphasis on engine maintenance.

    + Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft systems to detect wear, defects, and other issues.

    + Document all maintenance and repair work in accordance with FAA regulation.

    + Other duties may be assigned.

    Requirements:

    + FAA A&P License

    + 2+ years of maintenance experience on corporate or turboprop aircraft

    + Experience with Cessna, Beechcraft, or Mooney aircraft is highly desirable. PT-6 maintenance experience is also highly desirable.

    Compensation:

    + $28/hr - $40/hr

    + Per Diem is available

    Work Schedule:

    + 1 st Shift (7am-3:30pm), Mon-Fri

    Placement:

    + 6-month Contract to Hire

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
