    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated Production Assemblers to join our team. In this role, you will perform repeated assemblies on handmade products before they are sent out to our customers. You will be responsible for operating your station and utilizing hand tools, power tools, and other necessary instruments. This position demands standing for 8-10 hours and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Candidates with previous manufacturing experience and proficiency in using hand and power tools will excel in this role.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform repeated assemblies on handmade products.

    + Operate your station using hand tools, power tools, and other instruments.

    + Stand for 8-10 hours while working.

    + Lift up to 50 pounds as required.

    + Follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

    + Demonstrate attention to detail in all tasks.

    + Show willingness to learn and train for new positions.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in assembly and general labor.

    + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

    + Understanding of mechanical assembly and blueprint reading.

    + Ability to operate machines in an industrial setting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Comfortable standing for long periods (8-10 hours).

    + Ability to consistently lift 35-50 pounds.

    + Ability to work within a team of 50-60 people on the first shift.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a manufacturing setting handling metal parts, including cast iron. Expect to work on your feet in a team of 50-60 people during the first shift. The work hours are from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. Proper attire includes steel-toed shoes and long pants.

    This is a Contract position based out of Gorham, ME.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
