Description We are looking for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this Contract-to-permanent position, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial strategy for a healthcare organization. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and collaborating with various departments to drive informed decision-making and operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain comprehensive financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.

• Evaluate revenue streams, expenses, and profitability trends across multiple service lines and departments.

• Develop and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports tailored for leadership and stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to healthcare-specific financial regulations and organizational policies.

• Perform cost-benefit analyses for new initiatives, capital investments, and operational changes.

• Identify and recommend opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency within the organization.

• Interpret complex financial data to generate actionable insights for clinical and administrative teams.

• Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) while providing detailed variance analysis.

• Collaborate with department leaders to align financial plans with operational goals.

• Assist in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements. Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis and modeling within a healthcare or similar industry.

• Proficiency in tools like Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and Infor for data analysis and visualization.

• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and annual financial planning processes.

• Ability to conduct variance analysis and present findings clearly to stakeholders.

• Familiarity with audit procedures and financial reporting standards.

• Expertise in data mining techniques to extract and interpret meaningful insights.

• Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.

• Strong collaboration and communication abilities to work effectively across teams.
