Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for a great opportuinty in Greenville!

In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a critical role in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accurate processing of vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payments. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and experience in accounts payable processes..

Responsibilities:

• Process and accurately enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.

• Review and verify purchase orders to ensure alignment with invoices.

• Conduct regular check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors.

• Maintain and update vendor files, ensuring all information is accurate and accessible.

• Perform data entry tasks, including detailed reporting and analysis.

• Handle multiple vendor accounts simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy.

• Apply advanced Excel functions, such as VLOOKUP, to streamline reporting processes.

• Monitor and resolve discrepancies in invoices and purchase orders.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Additional Information:

-Hybrid after 4-6 months (2-3 days work from home!)

Requirements

• Proven experience in accounts payable processes

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and data analysis (optional)

• Ability to manage multiple vendor accounts and maintain organized records.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Familiarity with processing purchase orders and check runs.

• Effective problem-solving skills to address discrepancies in financial transactions.

• Solid communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across departments.
