Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Monroe, North Carolina. This role requires expertise in payroll processing, tax compliance, and the ability to manage multi-state payroll operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of payroll systems and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with out-of-state tax regulations, including managing registrations, filings, and payments for employees across multiple states.

• Reconcile payroll tax data to guarantee accurate reporting for W-2 forms and quarterly filings while adhering to federal, state, and local requirements.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to payroll taxes, ensuring timely corrections and compliance.

• Collaborate with external tax authorities to address inquiries and resolve tax-related matters effectively.

• Utilize payroll software to process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Conduct internal and external audits to maintain compliance and improve payroll operations.

• Support the team by providing expertise on payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, SAP, or UKG Ready.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of multi-state payroll tax regulations and apply them to daily operations.

• Prepare and submit 941 tax reports and other essential payroll documentation.

• Monitor payroll processes to ensure accuracy for organizations with employee counts ranging from 101 to 500. Requirements • Extensive experience in multi-state payroll processing and tax compliance.

• Proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, SAP, or UKG Ready.

• Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations, including federal and state requirements.

• Familiarity with full-cycle payroll processes for mid-sized organizations.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct tax reconciliations and resolve discrepancies effectively.

• Experience preparing and filing 941 tax reports and other essential payroll documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

• Prior experience with internal and external audits related to payroll practices.
