Are you looking for a satisfying cook opportunity where you can work in a team that shares your passion in the kitchen? Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City Child Care Center is looking for a motivated cook to join our Nutrition Service and Child Care team.

Responsibilities:

+ Demonstrating knowledge of how to cook different cuisines; measuring and mixing ingredients according to recipes.

+ Prepping food and meal areas while maintaining sanitation standards.

+ Monitoring equipment inventory control, product rotation, proper labeling, and safe food handling practices.

+ Adaptability to cross train in other areas within the Nutrition Service Department

The Shift:

+ 40 hours per week

+ 12 hour shifts + 4 hour shift

We provide our employees with the opportunity to grow in the health system, to move into leadership roles within the department or further their careers in new directions still within the health system. We are ideally looking for someone with at least 2 years of cook experience for this position.
