Overview
The OSINT Analyst (Network/Nodal Analysis) provides senior-level analytic expertise to support USINDOPACOM J2’s China Red Team and broader OSINT enterprise. This role focuses on advanced network, nodal, and social-link analysis derived from publicly available information (PAI) to support operational and strategic decision-making across the Indo-Pacific theater. The analyst produces high-quality OSINT assessments, develops Level 2 OSINT collection support plans, advises on OSINT policy and execution, and generates analytic products that inform priority U.S. foreign policy and national security initiatives.

Responsibilities
All-Source OSINT Analysis & Network/Nodal Assessment
+ Conducts all-source analytic production using public, private, and foreign/government open-source materials within established protocols.
+ Analyzes PAI to identify trends, patterns, social networks, and relational structures that provide unique insights into defense intelligence requirements.
+ Produces structured assessments identifying critical nodes and key influencers to satisfy Essential Elements of Information (EEIs) and Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs).
Level 2 OSINT Tradecraft & Support
+ Researches, develops, and delivers written Research Support Plans (RSPs) for Level 2 OSINT collectors.
+ Provides expert tradecraft guidance to Level 2 OSINT collection efforts, including signature reduction techniques.
+ Conducts Level 2 OSINT tasks in accordance with USINDOPACOM JIOC policy and direction.
Support to the China Red Team & OSINT Enterprise
+ Advises the China Red Team on OSINT execution, resource allocation, operational planning, management, and policy development.
+ Supplies operationally relevant analysis on China using critical thinking, net assessment methodologies, and advanced analytic tools.
+ Delivers subject-specific, finished OSINT products aligned with U.S. national security and foreign policy interests.
Strategic & Theater-Level OSINT Production
+ Conducts OSINT research and produces strategic and theater-level analysis supporting INDOPACOM decision-making and planning priorities.
+ Helps shape Intelligence Community (IC) analytic focus and prioritized support to INDOPACOM.
Methodological & Technical Expertise
+ Uses a wide array of methodologies, OSINT collection tools, exploitation platforms, and dissemination tools to analyze complex intelligence questions.
+ Produces well-crafted, sophisticated intelligence products—both written and oral—tailored to senior leadership and operational consumers.
Collaboration & Liaison
+ Maintains strong working relationships with IC elements, U.S. and foreign government experts, policy committees, partners, and law enforcement as appropriate.
+ Shares relevant insights across the broader intelligence and operational community to strengthen situational understanding.
Knowledge Management & Dissemination
+ Becomes proficient in command knowledge-management platforms (A-Space, R-Space, Q-Space, SharePoint, etc.).
+ Posts and maintains OSINT intelligence content on secure portals to ensure analysis is discoverable, accessible, and widely available across the IC and DoD community.
Qualifications
+ Senior-level OSINT or all-source analytic experience supporting DoD or IC missions.
+ Demonstrated expertise in social network analysis, nodal analysis, and structured analytic methodologies.
+ Experience developing Research Support Plans and advising on Level 2 OSINT collection.
+ Strong knowledge of signature reduction, OPSEC, and advanced OSINT exploitation tools.
+ Ability to produce high-quality OSINT products to support strategic, operational, and tactical decision-making.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills suited for senior leadership.
+ Experience collaborating with IC elements and interagency partners.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience supporting INDOPACOM, China-focused missions, or theater-level joint operations.
+ Familiarity with USINDOPACOM JIOC guidance and OSINT enterprise strategy.
+ Previous work with OSINT program development, policy creation, or enterprise resourcing.
+ Expertise in knowledge-management systems and classified/unclassified intelligence-sharing platforms.
