    Job Description

    Trek is looking to add the right person to join our finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting our North America Operations. The right person will have an opportunity to have a meaningful impact not only upon Trek’s finance department, but also upon a great company and rapidly developing part of the business. Utilizing business intelligence tools and being able to listen, partner and influence a variety of operating partners within our businesses will be key to success in this role.Position Responsibilities

     

    + Provide world class strategic, accounting, and financial analysis support for Waterloo Factory, North America Delivery and Distribution, and Ecommerce Assembly operations.

    + Assume direct financial ownership for the Waterloo Factory full business P&L.

    + Contribute to the development of Waterloo Factory strategic plan and lead the development of financial models including long range plans (5 years), annual budgets, and monthly forecasts

    + Develop and deliver monthly management reporting to inform business unit leaders regarding business performance particularly around factory production, efficiency and costs

    + Perform financial analysis to track variances against financial plans and address root causes behind variance drivers; identify and recommend actions to manage risks and opportunities

    + Lead and execute monthly close processes and accounting to ensure financials are recorded in an accurate and timely manner

    + Maintain necessary balance sheet reconciliations for all business units

    + Perform financial modeling for factory production volumes, capital projects, and people planning to leverage overhead structure

    + Evolve financial and operating metrics required to run the best factory in the world, benchmarking similar assembly operations & report insights to factory leadership

    + Evaluate and implement solutions to drive improvements in efficiencies in accounting and financial processes and reporting

    Position Requirements

    + Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or accounting is required

    + Advanced level of technical experience with BI tools and excel reporting capabilities

    + 5+ years of FP&A, Accounting or Corporate finance experience

    + Ability to coordinate global schedules and build strong processes

    + Ability to manage the details as well as communicate with and influence senior leaders
