What does a Customer Service Representative do?

Customer Service Representatives handle customer requests by making and receiving calls about inquiries and complaints regarding rates, billing, service issues, collections, etc. in a proactive, positive and professional manner. The typical work schedule is determined by our management team and can vary throughout the year. This is a full time position.

Work may include, but not be limited to:

+ Communicating with and assisting our customers via the phone and in person

+ Collecting, confirming, analyzing, and summarizing information and data from various sources

+ Operating office machines not limited to copy machines, fax machines, computers, and telephone equipment

+ Preparing and maintaining files and reports

What does it take to be a Customer Service Representative?

Required:

+ High school diploma or equivalency diploma

+ Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

+ Proficient computer skills; ability to type, use a computer, telephone and office equipment

+ Must enjoy interaction with the public and have sound judgment, excellent initiative and communication skills

+ Ability to work well with other people and interact with the public in a courteous and businesslike manner

+ Professional telephone etiquette and demeanor

Preferred:

+ Prior customer service and/or call center experience

+ Bilingual in English and Spanish

**Pay Rate:** $30.93 to $36.79 / hour
