Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

The primary role of the Project Manager is to plan, direct, and coordinate activities in fields such as engineering, research and development, financial systems, product roll-out, and other non-IT based projects. This role involves integrating technical activities and ensuring project goals are accomplished successfully.

Responsibilities

+ Coordinate projects by making detailed plans to achieve goals and directing the integration of technical activities.

+ Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.

+ Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.

+ Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.

Essential Skills

+ Project management and coordination expertise.

+ Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

+ 2-5 years of experience in a similar role or capacity.

+ Basic knowledge of computer software including MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio.

+ Experience using Certinia, Salesforce, or SmartSheets.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ PMI or PMP certification is preferred.

+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.

+ Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

+ Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, and business management principles.

Work Environment

This role offers a remote work environment from any location, with standard working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM CT. The Project Manager will collaborate daily with departments such as Process Optimization, Product Management, and other internal teams.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Vernon Hills, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
