Job Description
The Invoice Verification Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and validity of invoices before processing payments. This role involves reviewing invoices, matching them with purchase orders and receipts, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with internal departments and vendors to maintain financial accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Responsibilities
+ Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
+ Match invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts to ensure correct billing.
+ Identify and resolve invoice discrepancies, working closely with suppliers and internal teams.
+ Process approved invoices for payment within designated timeframes.
+ Maintain accurate records of invoice verification activities.
+ Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting by providing necessary documentation.
+ Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company accounting policies.
+ Support internal and external audits by providing invoice-related information.
+ Continuously improve invoice processing efficiency through automation and best practices.
Work Environment
The position is located in Salt Lake City, Utah, working within the Logistics department, which consists of approximately 20 people. The role is on-site, full-time, Monday through Friday, with hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The company offers a 401K with a 4% match after six months, eligibility for an annual cost of living adjustment and/or merit bonus after 12 months, and 13 days of PTO, which increases by 40 hours after the third-year anniversary. Working interviews are available, allowing candidates to directly showcase their experience.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salt Lake City, UT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
