    Job Description

    The Manager of Financial Operations oversees financial planning, analysis, and control of project-related activities across the organization. This role ensures effective financial governance, promotes accuracy in forecasting, supports strategic decision-making, and drives financial performance for both client and internally facing projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Lead project financial operations across a portfolio of programs, ensuring accuracy in budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition, and cost management.

    + Act as a financial business partner to project and program managers, offering insights to optimize performance and mitigate financial risks.

    + Prepare and present executive-level financial reports and dashboards, including KPIs, variance analyses, and forecasting updates.

    + Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), company policies, and contract terms.

    + Monitor project profitability, billing schedules, and cash flow forecasting.

    + Support internal and external audit processes with proper documentation and data integrity.

    + Assign workloads, monitor deadlines, and support the team in balancing multiple concurrent projects and programs.

    + Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.

    Work Environment

     

    This role prefers candidates local to Raleigh, with the expectation of being onsite one day per week.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Raleigh, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $103000.00 - $147000.00/yr.

     

    4.5 weeks of PTO10 paid holidays (8 standard, 2 floating)401k match up to 6%Profit-sharing and incentive program

    This is a hybrid position in Raleigh,NC.
