**Work location:** THR Corporate Campus 612 East Lamar Blvd Arlington TX 76011
This role will provide a combination of virtual and onsite support to multiple Texas Health locations including our hospitals and clinics.
**Work hours:** Full Time Days (8:00am-5:00pm Monday through Friday) for 40 hrs/week.

Here's What You Need
* Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Clinical field, Business, or related field. 4 Years Related experience in lieu of a degree. (Preferred)
* 2 Years Project management experience required to include experience in creating requirements, project plans, project schedules, and driving projects to key dates. 2 years' experience in information technology or healthcare environment preferred (Required)
* PMP - Project Management Professional Certification (Preferred)
What You Will Do
The Project Manager I (PM I) role is responsible for providing project management for the projects to which they are assigned through the production of plans, documentation of project deliverables, stakeholder communication and adherence to all PMO procedures and processes. The prime responsibility is to ensure assigned projects produce the required deliverables within the defined quality, time and cost constraints and to facilitate realization of the benefits defined for the assigned projects and programs.
The PM I is an entry level project manager who provides project leadership for routine and non-complex projects which involve a small number of impacted groups. The PM I must have a good understanding of the standard processes and tools used by the PMO.
Waterfall Project Delivery (when applicable)
* Creates and continuously updates a Project Management Plan for each project.
* Develops detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to define the scope of work, create project schedules, determine dependencies, and sequence project tasks.
* Collaborates with stakeholders and project teams to document requirements and deliverables.
* Tracks progress with detailed status reports, performance metrics, and regular reviews.
* Monitors project progress against timelines, addressing any variances to keep projects on track.
* Manages project scope by following the appropriate change control process.
* Completes all required project documentation and closes projects in a timely manner when the projects are finished.
Agile Project Delivery (when applicable)
* Applies Agile principles and methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) as appropriate to project needs.
* Works with the Product Owners and Scrum teams to identify and document requirements and to develop the Product Backlog.
* Facilitates Agile ceremonies when needed, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement and team alignment.
* Encourages collaboration and flexibility within the project team.
* Continuously gathers feedback and works with the Product Owner to adapt product backlog for optimal outcomes.
* Promotes an environment that supports rapid delivery of value to stakeholders.
Project Leadership & Delivery
* Leads less complex and smaller projects using Waterfall methodologies and/or Agile (Scrum/Kanban), selecting the most appropriate approach for business needs.
* Tracks project progress with detailed status reports, performance metrics, and regular reviews.
* Ensures timely completion of deliverables by identifying dependencies and resolving bottlenecks.
* Coordinates with vendors and internal teams, facilitating task completion, communication and integration efforts to support project execution.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
* Documents and implements project communication tailored to stakeholders' needs.
* Provides regular status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and issues.
* Develops and maintains strong relationships with all project stakeholders.
* Facilitates effective meetings and ensures timely dissemination of project information.
Resource & Time Management
* Engages resource managers to secure appropriate project staffing.
* Documents and tracks resource utilization and availability to manage project resource needs.
* Monitors team workload and performance, adjusting assignments when necessary.
* Manages the time approval process and track resource utilization against the project plan.
Risk & Issue Management
* Documents project risks and issues, including potential impacts and mitigation plans.
* Maintains an ongoing risk and issues log, updating regularly as the project progresses.
* Monitors risks and issues and proactively addresses changes as needed.
* Escalates unresolved issues or critical risks to management in a timely manner.
Vendor Management
* Establishes and maintains strong vendor relationships, ensuring vendor resources are engaged at the proper time(s) to keep the projects on schedule.
Innovation
* Participates in PMO process improvements and share best practices.
* Encourages team development and professional growth through feedback and opportunities.
