Job Description:
Responsibilities
Purchase Orders
+ Print vendor purchase orders daily and match with signed purchase requisition.
+ Mail/e-mail vendor copy of purchase orders to customer/requisitioner, file Accounts Payable copy and distribute requisitioner copy.
Accounts Payable
+ Enter properly matched invoices into Trans4m.
+ Process payments weekly.
+ Month end close activities.
+ File invoices/mail checks.
Payroll
+ Monitor time and attendance system/time clock
+ Review employee time cards for accuracy
+ Process bi-weekly payroll
+ Research and resolve employee payroll discrepancies
+ Other payroll tasks as deemed necessary
General
+ Filing and general administrative tasks.
+ Other tasks as deemed necessary.
+ Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
+ Provide support for internal and external audits.
Qualifications
+ High school Diploma or GED required.
+ 1-2 years Accounting and payroll experience preferred
+ Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and advanced skills in Excel
+ Must have good communication skills both written and verbal
+ Must have strong organizational skills
+ Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment
+ Attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines
High level of organization and work-flow implementation
