As a Vice President-Data Privacy Lead within the Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) team, you will be part of a group dedicated to creating business impact through the governance and implementation of privacy requirements. This role offers you an exceptional opportunity to join a high-profile organization delivering on the team goals and objectives.
Job responsibilities
+ Execute the 1st Line of Defense privacy operating model that adheres to firmwide requirements and applicable law.
+ Support programs to enhance AWM's privacy program.
+ Advise on privacy requirements for new initiatives.
+ Ensure effective execution of privacy and data protection requirements, inclusive of privacy risk assessments, and management of procedures.
+ Actively partner with the business and privacy teams to deliver required results.
+ Engage in the appropriate committees and forums to provide transparency and collaborate with stakeholders on delivery of privacy initiatives.
+ Assist the business with the design and execution of controls to address privacy business requirements and mitigate risks.
+ Provide transparency through governance, reporting and metrics that support the privacy framework.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Experience in US privacy laws including the CCPA.
+ Demonstrated ability in dealing with varied stakeholder groups.
+ Experience in influencing and implementing change in complex environments.
+ Ability to articulate and demonstrate thoughtful rationale in process and product design decisions with geographically dispersed teams.
+ Strategic thinker that can anticipate and resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both business partners and technical stakeholders.
+ Exceptional presentation and influencing skills.
+ Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
+ Experience within the banking or financial services industry.
+ Privacy certifications such as CIPP.
+ Experience integrating artificial intelligence solutions to enhance project outcomes and decision-making.
+ Experience implementing automation to streamline workflows and increase operational efficiency.
+ Ability to foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative problem-solving and the adoption of new technologies.
