This position would include both research and administrative opportunities.     What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

    Administrative Duties

    + Coordinate lab repositories of plasmids and cell lines

    + Organize biosafety certification and animal husbandry protocols

    + Introduce incoming lab members to common laboratory practices and safety guidelines

    + Oversee ordering of research items

    + Communicate with vendor representatives regarding orders

    Wet Lab Duties

    + Maintain common lab reagents, equipment, and consumables

    + Organize, breed, and genotype mouse colonies

    + Unpack and distribute orders upon arrival

    + Design and execute experiments in support of ongoing projects in the lab

     

    What We Can Offer

     

    The hiring range for this position is $38,000 - $50,000 annually.

    What We Require

    + B.S., B.A., or equivalent degree in molecular biology, developmental biology, biochemistry, or a related field.

    What You Will Need

    + A working knowledge of basic software (word, excel, PowerPoint).

    + A strong interest in developmental and molecular biology.

    + The ideal candidate would be highly organized and possess strong interpersonal skills.
