Job Description

Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the RN provides quality nursing care in an effort to promote comfort and healing, and to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes. He/She uses the nursing process and approved nursing standards to provide safe and successful quality care. Provides ongoing education to both the patient and their families. Maintains an appropriate level of knowledge and clinical expertise through continuing education, in-service program, departmental competencies, and self development activities. Works as part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide quality patient care. Provides guidance, education and support to the LPN's, Nurse Aides, and Unit Clerks.na
