    Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)

    Position Summary:

    The Registered Nurse (RN) in Long-Term Care is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for overseeing resident care, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing leadership to nursing staff. The RN delivers high-quality nursing services while promoting a culture of safety, compassion, and excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders.

    + Supervise, guide, and support LPNs and CNAs to ensure quality resident care.

    + Monitor residents’ conditions and communicate changes promptly to physicians and family members.

    + Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.

    + Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.

    + Act as a role model and resource for clinical staff, fostering teamwork and a positive work environment.

    Qualifications:

    + Current NYS RN license in good standing.

    + Current BLS Certification

    + Previous experience in Long-Term Care or Geriatric Nursing preferred.

    + Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

    + Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
