Secondary Math Teacher – $44/hr – Aurora Area, CO

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Secondary Mathematics Teacher for a school in the Aurora area. This role involves implementing daily instructional plans, maintaining a positive learning environment, and collaborating effectively with administrators and other teachers.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Aurora Area, CO

+ Start Date: January 6, 2026

+ End Date: End of 2025–2026 School Year

+ Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, 32 student contact hours per week (paid for 40 hours)

+ Duration: Full school year

+ Pay Rate: $44/hour

+ Subjects: Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra Honors

Responsibilities:

+ Implement daily instructional plans effectively

+ Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth

+ Establish rapport with students and maintain proper classroom management

+ Collaborate with building administrators and other teachers

Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred

+ Valid Colorado teaching certificate (Mathematics – Secondary) required

+ Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Current CPR, TB questionnaire, and health certificate if applicable

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
