We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Customer Marketing-Software for BA to join our team. The Director of Customer Marketing- Software for BA defines and drives the BA Software Marketing strategy across Honeywell Building Automation’s regions with the goal of demonstrating marketing’s impact on revenue and supporting sustainable and profitable organic business growth.
The Director will define the BA Software marketing strategy, processes and activities with a clear focus while shaping and guiding country level channel marketing plans, including campaigns, focused on growth in priority verticals and new product innovations (NPI). This role will lead the BA Software marketing organization and will partner with the BA business leaders to ensure targeted BA growth algorithm and business outcomes. The Director will drive best practices leading to the improvement of partner experience and targeted business outcomes based on customer type, decision journeys, and value propositions.
As part of the BA marketing leadership team, this Director role is also responsible for positioning the business to meet its long-term business goals and objectives. This position will be based in Atlanta, GA and report to the Honeywell BA Senior Director of Marketing.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Oversee the development of the BA Software marketing annual plan and budget aligned overall BA business strategy.
+ Develop and define the BA Software Marketing strategy plan by country and vertical to drive business growth targets
+ Own the strategy and development of priority integrated campaigns, including paid media and ABM, to achieve growth over a defined period in compliance with Global Delivery Models and marketing sourced revenue
+ Own audience segmentation and development of strategies to address target segments
+ Partner with GBE Presidents and Portfolio Leaders to adjust marketing approach based on business priorities
+ Collaborate with General Managers and sales teams to achieve growth targets and pipeline velocity
+ Drive product marketing and ensure that new product launches are successful
+ Build out BA Software marketing programs and grow relationships with key accounts
+ Drive Lead Generation by generating a strong sales pipeline through campaigns and external events
+ Partner with Event Planning for Sales kickoff, webinars, training and customer roadshows
+ Generate insight and foresight from analytics and identify actions to drive increased share of demand
+ Analyze our competitive landscape and customer insights to develop strategic marketing plans
+ Propose and manage content strategies that engage our audiences and stimulate sharing
+ Manage marketing budget
+ Manage, coach, evaluate and develop talent, and hold team members to high standard.
+ Drive continuous improvement and seek ways to do things better, faster and more efficiently.
+ Work effectively with senior leadership, acting as an advisor and change agent, and work seamlessly with global colleagues in all lines of business and regions.
Must Have:
+ 8+ years of leadership experience in marketing, strategy, and execution
+ 8+ years experience working with complex and global businesses
+ 8+ years experience working the marketing mix and tactics to maximize commercial impact
+ Ability to successfully develop and manage global teams
We Value:
+ A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Business Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or MBA is preferred
+ Data driven leader with deep experience in software marketing
+ Proven experience in managing global marketing teams and marketing budgets
+ Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with a proven track record of executing high-impact, results-oriented integrated marketing programs
+ Proven experience in building and executing digital marketing campaigns, online advertising, and social media strategies in a B2B marketing environment. B2C experience a plus.
+ Ability to interact and challenge senior executive leaders
+ Strong content marketing, content strategy, message development, and storytelling capabilities
