• Lead Systems Specialist

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Lead Systems Specialist or a Project Manager equivalent for an HVAC contracting company. Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

     

    Lead Project Execution: Plan, coordinate, and oversee control systems projects from design through commissioning and closeout.

     

    Manage Financial Performance: Control project costs, billings, collections, and maintain profitability and positive cash flow.

     

    Ensure Quality & Compliance: Supervise installation, commissioning, and safety standards; validate system functionality and adherence to regulations.

     

    Team Leadership & Support: Provide direction, coaching, and technical assistance to technicians, designers, and subcontractors.

     

    Client & Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong relationships, manage scope changes, pursue change orders, and deliver clear project updates.

     

    Training & Documentation: Conduct owner/operator training and provide accurate documentation for system operation and warranty execution.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - Minimum of a Technical Associate’s Degree and two years of field experience, or Four years of equivalent related field experience in the HVAC industry.

    - Technical Expertise:

    Hands-on experience in systems design and commissioning of digital HVAC controls systems.

     

    Strong knowledge of control theory and HVAC systems.
