Job Description

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to own validation and black-box testing for in-vehicle infotainment systems. This role is automation-heavy and requires strong Python skills to build robust test frameworks from scratch. You will be the gatekeeper ensuring software is ready for release, working across Android and iOS platforms in a Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete black-box testing and validation for infotainment software and mobile applications.

Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Python (Pytest).

Write automation scripts for mobile apps and embedded systems; no drag-and-drop tools.

Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure release readiness.

Collaborate with integration teams to identify defects and improve system reliability.

Troubleshoot issues across hardware/software layers in a Linux-based environment.

Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and automation coverage.

Skills and Requirements

Strong proficiency in Python for automation (Pytest framework experience required).

2+ years of experience

Solid understanding of Linux environments for embedded systems testing.

Ability to design code and create libraries and contribute to the test frameworks

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments. Experience in consumer electronics, automotive, or similar complex systems.

Experience with mobile app testing and infotainment systems preferred.

Hands-on experience with Android and iOS automation using Appium and Selenium.
