Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure as code for globally deployed applications. This role involves working with AWS and Kubernetes environments, ensuring smooth deployments from development to production, and implementing automation and monitoring solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Build and manage cloud infrastructure as code to deploy and maintain environments.

Deploy and manage globally distributed applications running on AWS and Kubernetes.

Oversee the full lifecycle from development to production, including monitoring and troubleshooting.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and manage code changes into production environments.

Ensure deployment quality through automated testing and controls.

Collaborate with development teams to streamline automation and infrastructure processes.

Pay range can be expected based on skills and years of experience from $5-$10 USD/hr

Skills and Requirements

4+ years of experience with a major cloud provider (AWS preferred) and infrastructure-as-code tools.

4+ years in DevOps roles.

2+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes.

Deep expertise in Terraform or Pulumi.

Strong coding skills in Python and Bash/Shell scripting (TypeScript is a plus).

Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions preferred; GitLab or Jenkins acceptable).

Familiarity with Docker containers and container registries.

Experience with Grafana and Promethius Experience with AWS CloudFormation or Azure Resource Manager.

Knowledge of additional scripting languages or automation frameworks.
