    Job Description

    A client is seekign a Platform/Data Engineer to join the team, specializing in Databricks within a GCP environment.

     

    $50/hr to $70/hr. - Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 7+ years experience in Data Engineering-

    Must Have:

    - Databricks

    - GCP

    Provision and configure Databricks workspaces on GCP, including networking, identity, and Unity Catalog setup.

     

    Develop and use automated Terraform scripts to establish foundational assets and ensure infrastructure-as-code practices

     

    Migrate Databricks workspace objects

     

    Validate all dependencies and configurations are accurately transferred to GCP

     

    Monitor migrated workspaces for performance

     

    Resolve post-migration issues and provide support
