• AWS Cloud Engineer

    Job Description

    • Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management

     

    o Architect and maintain AWS-based infrastructure, including EC2, VPC, Route53, S3, RDS, CloudFront, and IAM.

     

    o Implement high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies across cloud environments.

     

    • Automation & Infrastructure as Code

     

    o Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.

     

    o Automate provisioning, configuration, and deployment tasks for cloud resources.

     

    • Security & Compliance

     

    o Enforce identity and access management (IAM) best practices, including least privilege and role-based access control.

     

    o Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.

     

    • Monitoring & Optimization

     

    o Configure and manage AWS CloudWatch, Trusted Advisor, and other monitoring tools for performance and cost optimization.

     

    o Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues proactively.

     

    • Collaboration & Support

     

    o Work closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and improve system reliability.

     

    o Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Strong proficiency in AWS services: EC2, VPC, Route53, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SNS/SQS, and IAM.

    • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).

    • Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages such as Python or Shell.

    • Solid understanding of networking concepts, VPNs, and security best practices in cloud environments.

    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator preferred.

    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
