    The Collateralized Debt Obligation Group (CDO) is a division within U.S. Bank Global Corporate Trust Services, the premier CLO trustee in the industry. CDOs are structured finance vehicles that issue both debt and equity liabilities, with the proceeds being used to buy a portfolio of collateral. Typical types of collateral include syndicated bank loans, corporate bonds, asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, and Mezzanine debt. The CDO Loan/Asset Administration is responsible for monitoring and maintaining pools of corporate bonds, asset-backed securities, mortgage-backed securities, and Mezzanine debt that act as collateral for CDO. This position is relied on by the Deal Administration, Analytics, and Relationship Management departments to process interest payments, principal payments, fees, and new payment information in an accurate and timely manner.

     

    The CDO Loan/Asset Administrator researches CDO Suite and bond discrepancies between portfolios using Bloomberg, DTC, and different trustee reports. The team manages bonds globally in CDO Suite and Issue Tracker to ensure accurate information is in the systems. Two primary responsibilities are booking interest/principal payments when the notes pay and monitoring/granting access to external parties to be able to view U.S. Bank’s reports. The team assists the CLO Team and the Tagging Team during high volume periods, like month end. The team offers training and includes hands-on practice. Opportunities for promotions include, but are not limited, to CDO Loan/Asset Administrator I and II, Deal Administrator, Analyst and Relationship Manager.

     

    **Schedule:** Monday - Friday 8am-5pm CST; Mandatory overtime during month end, quarter end, and year end

    **Location** : 3+ days in office (flexible, encourage Tuesdays in office) at 190 S La Salle St, Chicago

    _Basic Qualifications_

    + Typically an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

    + Typically less than two years of relevant work experience

    _Preferred Skills/Experience_

    + Demonstrable ability to research and resolve data discrepancies

    + Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize workload and complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy

    + Utilize logical reasoning and sound judgment to make appropriate decisions following established policies and procedures

    + Strong reading comprehension, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational skills, critical thinking, and analytical skills

    + Strong customer relation skills, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills

    + Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications like Excel

    + Once trained, able to work independently with minimal guidance and as part of a team

    + Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility to work effectively with cross-functional teams across various sites.

    + Experience reconciling and administering bond transactions is a plus, but not required

    This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $25.77 - $34.33
