    Wound Care Physician at UNCHMG /UNC Wayne in Goldsboro, NC

     

    We are committed to providing quality and cost-effective medical care to a diverse population of patients with chronic medical conditions and special needs, therefore, we are seeking to add a Wound Care Physician to the team. The practice has two physicians and two APPs. Two hyperbaric chambers, a busy practice with full panel, hospital privileges and hospital consults. There will be no afterhours hospital call.

     

    **Schedule:** Monday – Thursday 730am-5pm and Friday 730am-1pm

    **EMR:** EPIC

    Qualifications and Required Skills

    + Graduated from an accredited Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy school

    + Wound Care experience and/or training required

    + Physicians with advanced training in wound management and hyperbaric oxygen therapy preferred

    + New trainees are welcome to apply

    + Board Certified or Board Eligible

    General Responsibilities

    + Debridement

    + Topical wound therapy

    + Growth-factor therapy

    + Tissue therapy

    + Dressing selection
